Hi! My name is Loreal Nix, and I am the proud creator of Live In The Mix! I'm 24 years old and from Michigan. In 2021, I graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.A.A in Journalism and a concentration in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. I started this website when I was 19 years old in 2018. I am currently an MHSAA football + basketball reporter & podcast co-host for The Bounce Podcast, all under the umbrella of #1 Productions LLC. My writing experience dates back to 2017, including Live In The Mix!, as I've written for publications like Central Michigan Life, Last Word on Sports, CoverTheSpread365, and The Game Haus.  

 "In The Mix" means to be included, to be in the know. I wanted to create a platform where people could live in the moment, hence the name Live In The Mix! This website is dedicated to discovering and reporting the latest news on music, sports, art, fashion & beauty, politics, opinions, life & culture. It features stories, articles, photography, videos, and other forms of media created by me and other contributors. 

Live In The Mix's goal is to inform the public about what's happening in the world and pop culture while providing a safe and positive space for individuals to share their opinions, passions, and knowledge. I believe everyone has a unique voice, and Live In The Mix! strives to give a voice to the voiceless and foster a sense of inclusivity.
